Kira Parle

This project went downhill in my opinion. I really loved the concept I came up with and how I had sculpted it, however, when it came to the under glaze I was upset with how it turned out. It is supposed to be a snail with a honey hive on it's back instead of a shell; but due to the lack of colors we had left of the under glazes, my yellow came out streaky and dull. The color of the snail itself was upsetting to me as well, as I hadn't really thought any of the colors would have looked good with the hive color. I feel like I should not have put any color on to it, and just kept it plain. I think that is what I would have done if I had to do this piece over again.
